I’ve been a carpenter for over 15 years and have been running my own business for the past three. I take real pride in every project I undertake, with a strong focus on quality, precision and delivering a finish that stands out.
I’m known for being highly detail-oriented — some might say overly fussy — but that is exactly what ensures every job is completed to the highest possible standard. Whether it is structural work or the finer finishing touches, I believe the difference is always in the detail.
Outside of work, I’m a family man. I live with my partner, Jacqui, and our two daughters, who are the driving force behind everything I do. Having a household full of strong female influence has also given me a sharper eye for the aesthetic side of projects, particularly interior design and finishes.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find us outdoors — paddle boarding, exploring or making the most of family time. On the rare occasion I get time to myself, I’ll be out on the golf course, my biggest passion outside of the trade.

Josh Dear is a key part of the team and someone we rely on day in, day out. A family man at heart, Josh started his working life in farming before deciding it was not the long-term path for him. Since then, he has become a highly skilled and dependable member of the company.
We have worked closely together for over five years, and in that time Josh has become not just a colleague, but a good friend. He is the kind of person who takes real pride in his work, with a strong eye for detail and a natural ability to think things through and solve problems as they arise.
On site, Josh brings great energy. He is easy to get on with, always up for a laugh and helps create a positive atmosphere for both the team and our clients.
Outside of work, you will often find us on the golf course. Josh also enjoys shooting and regularly takes part in competitions. Clients warm to him quickly because he is approachable, hardworking and genuinely passionate about doing a good job.
